Live from LaVal's #19

Live from LaVal's program taped on November 6, 1993. Hosted by Earl Oliver, this program featured Michael Shotwell with Joe Munsch, Deane Juhan and Gregg Norman, and The Badger & Belinda.

Known as "The Badger", Steve Carrillo is a genuine guitar "wizard", who plays some of the best slide guitar since Robert Johnson met the Devil at the crossroads, and sings in an alternately gruff and plaintive style. Belinda is a classically trained violinist applying classical licks to the Badger's blues tunes. Very powerful stuff!

Michael Shotwell is a singer/songwriter who shares his emotional experiences through music and humor. He was accompanied by guitarist, Joe Munsch for this taping.

Deane Juhan was already considered as a legendary blues player in the San Francisco Bay area when this program was taped. Bassist, Gregg Norman, moved away to Las Vegas in the late 1990's and started a band there called "The Lounge Lizards" that eventually became one of the hottest acts on the Vegas strip.
