The Oscars

The 62nd Academy Awards hosted by Billy Crystal at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Monday, March 26, 1990, honoring movies released in 1989. All of the year's acting winners were first-time winners. Jessica Tandy was 80 years and 292 days old when she received her Oscar, which was her first, making her the oldest performer ever to win a competitive Oscar. Billy Crystal was the host for the first time.
