The Hangman was former WCWA Ref Ian MacNeilly
This was a Hangmans Noose Match, Wrestlers are seperated by 10 feet of rope, each end has a Hangmans noose that is placed around the wrestlers neck

The title was vacated when Wolverine returned to Europe.

Title has since been revived by North American Wrestling as the NAW Light Heavyweight Title in 1999
