Whiplash (1959–1960)
Set in the 1840s, the series was a western filmed in Australia, and starred Peter Graves as "Christopher Cobb". The series was loosely based on the life of Freeman Cobb, who was the founder of Australia's first stagecoach line. Peter Graves, in his character of Christopher Cobb, did not carry a pistol and often used a bullwhip to settle disputes.
